A few teams have surprised me this year, both good and bad. I'm surprised that the Nationals are doing as well as they are and I'm suprised that the Tigers aren't as dominate as they were adveritised. Other teams like the Orioles are surprising me that they are still doing well. In this blog there are just going to be a few predictions and stats that I wanted to share. Also some teams are getting some key players back that can seriously help them. (I.E. Matt Kemp, L.A. Dodgers)

National League Teams in first place: East: Washington Nationals (Atlanta 4.0 GB) Central: Pittsburgh Pirates (Cincinnati 1.0 GB) West: L.A. Dodgers (Giants 0.5 GB) I think that the National League has a lot of great pitching and I couldn't decide who the front runner for the Cy Young is, R.A. Dickey is making a good push, Matt Cain has a good chance and they're a few people that are also making a run for it, Gio Gonzalez and a surprise Lance Lynn. First half..... MVP: Carlos Beltran Breakout player: Melky Cabrera (Crazy good about everything) Rookie: Byrce Harper My prediction for the winners at the end of the season: East: Washington Nationals Central: Cincinnati Reds West: L.A. Dodgers Wild Card: San Francisco Giants 2nd Wildcard: NY Mets | American League Teams in first place: East: NY Yankees (Baltimore 7.0 GB) Central: Chicago White Sox (Indians 3.0 GB) West: Texas Rangers (Angels 4.0 GB) Pitching wise for the American League they have some pretty dominate pitchers also, David Price who is having one of the best seasons of his career. Matt Harrison surprisly for the Rangers has 11 wins. Also there is the always dominate Justin Verlander. First half.... MVP: Josh Hamilton Breakout player: Trevor Plouffe (19 HRs, really?) Rookie: Mike Trout (No question, incredible) My predictions for the winners at the end of the season: East: NY Yankees Central: Detriot Tigers West: Texas Rangers Wildcard: Tampa Bay (Yes the exact same winners from last year) 2nd Wildcard: L.A. Angels ___________________________________________________ At the end of the season, who will be the winner in all the divisions in baseball? Sorry for all the polls! But I'm interested to see if your opinions match mine! |
